Description

This is possibly the best & largest Collection of Music from 1936 through 1949 that is available. It consists of 2 full Box sets compiled by Readers Digest:

  • Box Set #1-The Great Band Era is 37 Top bands of ten years of Top Tunes 1936 through 1945 Including the Original booklet "The Story of the Great Bands."
  • Box Set #2-A Parade of Nostalgic Hits Remembering the 40's (1940 through 1949) developed in 1977. This is not just instrumental but also vocalists like Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland & Ella Fitzgerald. On the Back of each sleeve is a Historical Narrative of the yearly events.
Used In Good Condition Shipping via USPS Media Mail no matter how many albums you purchase.
  • We do not play used albums clear through.
  • We photograph album Cover to show imperfections.
  • Used albums contain sleeves unless noted in the description. 
  • We do not sell albums with deep or obvious scratches with visual review. 
  • We use Spin Clean Doctor cleaning method on albums prior to 1970 to clean the Vinyl as we found this decreases the likelihood of run skips. 
  • Dust buildup is the most common reason a record starts skipping. When dirt and other debris get stuck deep in the grooves of your vinyl, it could bump the record player's needle (stylus) out of place and make your record skip to a new spot.
  • We mail all albums in 12 x 12 cardboard mailers for protection.
