Description
OXFAM MUSIC CLASSICAL AUCTIONS
Historic performances recorded by Kathleen Ferrier in October 1952 and reissued in 1960 in a stereo transcription on Decca SXL 2134. Miss Ferrier was accompanied by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult. The LPO was reassembled to in order the superimpose a stereo accompaniment on the original mono recordings of Miss Ferrier. The rear of the sleeve has interesting detail on the technical challenges of this recreation of the original performances.
CONDITION:
SLEEVE - EXCELLENT - Generally excellent sleeve with no significant damage, clean on both sides apart from slight ring wear.
VINYL - EXCELLENT - An excellent condition record with signs of minor play only. Some slight scuffing and tiny scratches on track 1, Side 1,which have no effect on play.
AUDIO NOTES - Sampled on both sides. Excellent sound quality, clear recording of both soloist and orchestra. Very occasional light ticks.

All items will be securely dispatched in a new hard 12" mailer with stiffener, and will include a 12" polythene record sleeve. All items are handled with the greatest of care prior to dispatch.
