Firstly - my apologies for cancelling and relisting this item, but I had made a glaring mistake in the title and, as someone had bid, couldn't edit it!

Hi there once again eBayers!

Here I have a rare piece of Australian Rock ‘n Roll Memorabilia!

Sourced from a gentleman who booked bands for the Geelong region in the late 1970s to early ‘80s, this fine man threw nothing away! One of the bands he booked was Contraband, who began life as the band Finch, prior to being signed in the USA and changing their name. Sad to say, they didn't last too much longer! The band members did include Mark Evans on bass. Sadly, Mark was kicked out of AC/DC around the time Bon Scott passed away and Brian Johnson joined. Two very different career paths!

So, I have a copy of the self titled album "Contraband" as given to the booker. The back of the album has been signed (and adorned!) by the band members. The vinyl is in good to very good condition - no scratches, some marks. The inner sleeve features lyrics and "proof rolls" of images of the band members. There is also a second copy of the album cover (unsigned) which is in good condition.

The band members were:

Barry Cram, drums; Mark Evans, bass guitar; David Hinds, lead guitar and vocals; Graham Kennedy, rhythm guitar and vocals (and tonight show hosting); Owen Orford, lead vocals.

Side Two: Gimme Some Lovin'; Only A Fool; Jodie On the Break; Sittin' Pretty; I Want La-Huv

Yes they were contractually obliged to include at least three songs with an apostrophe in the title.

As well, there are two copies of the band's promotional poster from the time. Both are in reasonable to good condition, given their age. A little bit of dog ears on some corners, but no major creases or folds. The poster measures 46cm across and 62cm long.

The pictures give the best description of the two items. I've included some photos of the vinyl with and without use of flash to give an indication of condition.
