About : Memorabilia-A-Go-GoHaving been an avid collector of autographs from the age of 4 when I went to a local football match with my Dad to see his beloved Ipswich Town my fascination with the buzz of waiting in the freezing cold for hours to be rewarded with the prize of maybe a hand shake or even a kiss on the cheek from my target can only be compared with my Dads dedication to the said team. Having traded and swapped my prizes over the years I can say now at the age of 21 I don't think my dedication has dwindled in the slightest. Now at the age of 21 I live with a real star who is the love of my life. For obvious reasons I would rather keep him anonymous as my secret James Bond, but he is a very well known session musician & vocalist and has toured as support over the years with many stars including. Chuck Berry, Showaddywaddy, Queen, Thin Lizzy, Slade, Bay City Rollers, Sweet, The Searchers, Freddy and The Dreamers, Rocking Berries and many more. His scrap book alone is a wonder to me and having roamed the world before me finally snagging him and making him settle down has given me a wealth of Memorabilia. Some of it we will never part with. I also have an uncle who works for the BBC which has given me a good back door intro to a few of the more popular soap stars. Having run a few auctions of some of my treasured signatures it amazes me how people email me and expect me to give out email address's. Well basically I have been taught by a good teacher never to kill the goose that lays the golden egg and let's be fair if you had such information it is only ethical and fair to the star to keep it private. If they wanted their personal email address's to be public they would publish it in the Sun newspaper so PLEASE STOP ASKING. Since the launch and progress of the super information highway we call the internet I have made many friends and met many likewise collectors. Although I have only recently ventured into the world of EBay I have had over 17 years of first hand experience into the art of collecting authentic autographs and if I haven't collected the autograph in person I have swapped or traded with trusted colleagues, uacc registered members, and companies dealing mainly in hand signed items and occasionally pre prints .
