Description
The Red Garland Quintet with John Coltrane & Donald Byrd “All Mornin’ Long” 1958 first deep groove pressing Prestige Records NYC address label (# PRLP 7130 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve. This is a Rudy Van Gelder (RVG) recording. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+). The majority of the album plays very well with robust fidelity and minimal background noise. On Side 1/track 1, about 20 seconds in, there is a scratch that produces a light tick for ~45 seconds - it does not overpower the music. On Side 2/track 1 right at the beginning there is a scratch that produces a tick for only 20 seconds (both are shown in photos). Visually, the vinyl is clean & glossy - other than the aforementioned scratches, there are just some light superficial hairline marks. The following is on the runout grooves:

The outer case is also Very Good Plus (VG+). The front cover laminate is clean, glossy and smooth with barely any wear. The back cover is smooth & clean and has minor wear at the top where the top of the paper is very lightly peeling and has crinkled a little on the top right-hand corner - it’s nothing serious. The top seam has a couple of tiny dings. The spine is EX. The bottom seam just has tiny wear at the opening. There are no splits and the cover is sturdy. (all reflected in the photos). NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
