This is Prestige Records PR 7229, Red Garland Quintet With John Coltrane Dig It, a yellow, Bergenfield NJ, deep groove label original mono issue of this classic record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in VG++ condition showing a few light superficial marks keeping it from being near mint and playing quietly throughout. The laminated cover has pronounced water damage and discoloration but is otherwise intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. If you can accept the cover damage, this is an excellent collector's grade copy of this rare original mono recording.
