Description

This is Prestige Records PRLP 7170, Red Garland At The Prelude, a yellow, 203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield New Jersey, deep groove labeled, original mono issue of this classic live recording (the 1st of three releases from this date), with RVG etched in the dead wax. The record is in Near Mint condition showing almost no signs of wear (there are two light sleeve marks on side 2 but they are inconsequential) and playing quietly throughout, even given that this is a particularly quiet album. The laminated cover shows a small bump on the upper and lower left corners (see photo 4) but is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent as well and have no spindle marks. This is a superb collectors grade copy of this rare original issue. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
