Description

Damned economy! Wouldn't be parting with this if times weren't so tough! RARE and VERY MUCH OUT OF PRINT double 10" version of Red House Painters' exquisite 1995 album for the 4AD imprint. Apart from being next to impossible to find, it includes a fantastic early, stripped down version of "Long Distance Runaround", a Yes cover that would emerge in a much more polished form on the following year's Songs From a Blue Guitar--this was not on the cd version! AN ABSOLUTE ESSENTIAL FOR FANS! The natural brown cardstock jacket is very lightly warped, though it remains in the original shrink wrap. Although both discs have been played well over the years the sound quality is wonderful--a few faint pops and some very minor surface noise can be heard, though truly they only enhance the experience.
