Description

King Crimson 'Red' UK - First Pressing 1974
Matrix Side A) ILPS 9308 A-3U RD Séan. 1 Side B) ILPS 9308 B-6U PECKO 1
Note: 'Séan' & 'PECKO' are etched
Vinyl Play Back: NM- A+! An exceptional top-caliber listen. No issues of concern.  A couple of incidental tics.
Cover: EX+ The corners are square with no bumps. The spine is straight with the text fully legible. Pinched ends are perfect. There is a tiny laminate lift at the rear along the LP insert opening. (Pic #9) The Laminate is otherwise fully intact.  A few superficial mini-creases and just a mini-bit of feathering in one corner.
Vinyl Visual: EX+ Two spider lines are seen under direct fluorescent lighting on Side A. Otherwise not a mark on it. Still has its glossy sheen.
Labels: NM- Clean with a few soft spindle lines.
Original Blue Inner: EX-  Some light aging with two neat seam splits.
INV: 621

Grading endeavors to be conservative. (Please see below for grading scale)
All open vinyl is shipped in a new poly-inner, and the album cover in a poly-sleeve.
Vinyl is cleaned on a VPI 16.5 machine and test played 'start-to-finish' prior to listing, unless otherwise noted.
'Vinyl Playback' will always address egregious audible concerns.   If you encounter any issues with your purchase, please contact me prior to leaving negative or neutral feedback.
My goal is your 100% complete satisfaction.

Vinyl Play Grades
M: Still sealed
M-: An opened item that appears 'M'. Virtually perfect playback.
NM: A few minor visual imperfections with virtually no audible impact. Top quality play.
EX: A few more surface marks than NM with very few audible imperfections. Quality play.
VG+: Surface scuffs and lines. Some light surface noise or a few tics or pops. Enjoyable play.
VG: Defined scuffs, lines, and scratches. More surface noise, tics, and pops than VG+. Acceptible play.
G: Heavy wear, deep scratches, with egregious surface noise, clicks, and pops. Poor play.
Hybrid Example:    Vinyl which is VG in appearance but plays NM. = Visual Grade: VG  Playback Grade: NM
The reverse may also occur.  = Visual Grade: NM  Playgrade: VG
Album covers are graded on a case by case basis given the myriad of issues which may impact each.
All grading is completely subjective and provided to the best of my ability.
