Description

Red Vinyl Beatles Japan edition early 1960's album #2 Roll Over Beethoven.  Full LP size.  In color paper cover with lots of foreign characters along with English.  The flip side paper cover is a Japan edition cover for Beatles album # one but I never had the record to go with it.  The condition of the vinyl itself is good but there are a few random scratches that are very noticeable, it is old and was used.  I tried to photograph the surface but just couldn't get a useable image.  Where it came from... I was given this and one other colored vinyl album in the late 1960's by a friend who was the son of a military family.  He had been born overseas and bounced through several continents before coming to Colorado.  I have had this in my personal collection ever since.  I played it once since receiving it, then spoke with a record fanatic collector at the time who said I should not play it because the red vinyl's were too soft and it would not last.  So that was it, it hasn't seen a needle for about 40 years.  The LP paper label reads "Hae Shan Record", for those who know what that means.  There is also a small chip on the surface of the paper label (not the record). Comes in the thin plastic cover protector that it had when I got it, the previous owner scribbled initials on the plastic, not the cover but the impression transferred.  I am also listing the companion green LP, check it out too!  I will combine shipping if they are bought the same day.  Shipped in between stiff foamcore sheets.
