Description

Redman - Muddy Waters LP Vinyl.
First US Pressing - Def Jam - 314 533 470-1.
Outer sleeve - (VG) - Outer sleeve is relatively nice and clean with creasing along the sides, some heavy creasing in places, slight rubbing along the sides, bumping to the corners.
Inner Sleeve - (G+) - The inners are just about ok but they are heavily creased, have slits at the bottom and one has split at the top also.
Vinyl - Vinyl visually graded under bright light. When I mention 'scratch' this is never one which is deep and can be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Record 1 - (VG+ - EX) - Vinyl looks nice and clean with signs of a few very light surface scratches on both sides which should not affect the vinyl playing very very well.
Record 2 - (VG (-) - VG) - Vinyl looks relatively clean but with signs of several - many light looking surface scratches / hairlines on both sides. I still feel that with the right stylus / set of decks / set up the vinyl would play well and to at least a VG standard and maybe even higher.

Record Collectors Grading system

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
