The Direct To Tape company was the ULTIMATE in Audiophile recording!
Their tapes were recorded with two mics and NO EQ, limiting or compression! They were custom duplicated for the customer at NORMAL PLAYBACK SPEED using Agfa mastering tape!
This tape was duplicated using the dbx II system!
PLEASE NOTE: this tape is dbx II encoded and will ONLY play properly with a dbx II decoder!
It PLAYS through fine on our Teac X-300R.
We play test all of our reel tapes (except the N.O.S./sealed ones) to make sure there's NO missing tape, unwanted splices and drop-outs!
Looks GREAT!
It's 7 1/2 ips.
