Description
A MONUMENTAL 7" SINGLE (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE LESSER VALUE 12" VERSION). I'm listing it for 30 days but I might just decide to keep it before that time. This is FABULOUS!!!
I'm currently Selling Reggae, Roots, Dub and Ska from a collection I aquired that had not seen light of day for many years. Unlike much old Rare Reggae these have not been played to death and mostly are not defaced in the way many singles were.
This amazing quality copy of the MASSIVELY RARE sought after REGGAE/DUB MONSTER SINGLE by PHILLIP FRAZER 'Mr WICKED MAN' / 'PART II' was released on the JAMAICAN (CORNER) STONE label in 1978. It has remarkably survived with only minor surface scuffs (not generally affecting sound).
The Labels are gorgeous and clear of any damage with NO Writing, Tears or Stickers (just the dealers stamp on side 'A'. The 'B' side label is slightly misaligned but this is not unusual for Jamaican presses (see pics for exact condition - please note light reflections on pics are not on the actual vinyl)!!!
The single PLAYGRADES in EXCELLENT condition with minimal intro/occasional background noise. The 'B' side does have occasional noise on my system however my modern stylus often struggles with Old vinyl especially Jamaican presses so I'd rate the 'B' side as EX-/VG++.
THIS RECORD RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE ON EBAY (OR ANYWHERE). It is supplied in a replacement paper sleeve and its poly sleeve for dust protection.
I'm also throwing in a FREE (random) Reggae 7" single with this record!
Rare Record Collector Grading: EX (Excellent)
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have some wear/tear and / or creasing.
I will ONLY SEND this 'SIGNED FOR'.
