Description

This is a tiny 78rpm Rex record of Reginald Dixon playing 'I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside' on one side and 'Reginald Dixon Himself' on the other, played on the Blackpool Tower Organ.

The record measures about 3.5 inches across, the 50p peice in the picture gives you an idea of the size (the 50p is not in the auction). I have never seen a 78rpm record this size before but I believe they were either presentation records, or maybe given to visitors to the Blackpool Tower. It does not have the outer sleeve.

Also I do not have the equipment required to play this so i cannot vouch for its playing condition.

A rare item for the collector of either Reginald Dixon memorabilia or records.
