This is an auction of RARE Relaxin' With the Miles Davis Quintet - original Deep Groove Bergenfield New Jersey yellow and black labels - Prestige 7129 - engineered by Rudy Van Gelder. A gem from the prime of Miles Davis at the Golden age of Jazz recored by the master Van Gelder. What else can one say. With Miles, John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones.

Record is PLAY graded VG++ with some light background surface noise or ticks in spots but never too obtrusive - visually looks VG with lots of light marks and scratches and a 2" scratch that produces ticks on side 2 - plays much better than it looks. Cover is the nicest front cover of a Jazz LP of this period I have ever seen and is VG++ only due to wear at bottom corners and general wear on white on back. Labels are very nice.
