RENAISSANCE - "self titled" LP on the Raff label, RF-938, stereo, from 1971
Crown Jewel Of Progressive Rock From Mexico, 4 Point Record In Hans Pokorra`s "1000 Record Dreams", Very Hard To Find, an Absolut Collector' s item, Ultra Rare!!!
Not to be confused with the UK group Renaissance with Kieth Relf, this is a weird psychedelic progressive group from Mexico - with a cover to match it's strangeness! See photo below, this cover is legendary to South American and Central American psych collectors for its SURREAL imagery. Music is difficult to define, progressive psych but not quite "prog", has a certain garage vibe with strange off kilter crooning vocals, fuzz guitars, and occasional greasy lounge vibe.
Top original Renaissance LP release in rare gate fold cover on Raff (RF 938), from 1971. Simply mind-bending LP with cover to match. Cover is near mint and still in the shrink wrap. LP is also in wonderful near mint condition, and perfect original insert is also included.
