Hi Vinyl freaks. In the next few weeks I'll put on auction more than 600 great and collectible records. Most records are true collector's items. Have a look, it is worthwhile! Most of my vinyl comes from my own collection and/or quality collections. Most records are in great, collectible condition. If not, I'll clearly describe the possible flaws or scuffs. Appr. 90% of my records are EX to Mint-. I am continuously selling Essential German Kraut, Dutch psych and garage, UK and US progressive and folk, early electronic and (hard) psychedelic records from the period 1967 to 1975. Moreover, many other essential wave, punk and (minimal) synth records will be on auction. Please take some time and read my instructions carefully. If questions... please feel free to ask. Condition Record/Sleeve: Mint-/Mint- (record immaculate, DREAM audio. Cover clean and unwritten, like new = unplayed archived copy)

Extra Info: Fantastic Album !! Original UK 1st press LP on the BTM label with original HIPGNOSIS cover... Hard to get album .. Wow ..minty dream audio ...

Renaissance´s follow up to the classic Ashes Are Burning is again a killer. With songwriter Michael Dunford now officially a member of the group (he joined the band during Ashes Are burning sessions, but was listed on the cover as a guest) the sound is more symphonic than ever. The only song that bears the pastoral, folky side of the band so evident on Ashes... is the ballad I Think Of You, which is very simple and a bit awkward here, but giving a pleasant respite between two massive symphonic epics. Highlights are the hauting Black Flame, the beautiful orchestrated Mother Russia and Things I Don´t Understand (Annie Haslam does a great job on the second part, amazing!).

The other songs are very good and the interpretation (only organ and vocals) is stunning!
Fantastic album, it proves the band could evolve even more into the symphonic sound they created. Highly Recommended.
