- All of our used records are play-graded and come in a protective outer-sleeve.
CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks good; light scuffing and some creases (front/back); area at front top right where there are faint numbers and some cloudiness. Back has some faint numbers and area of surface abrasion at top left. Some discoloration spots inside outer-sleeve. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is mostly readable with wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Rise, by singing duo René & Angela, was their last release for Capitol Records. The album includes the R&B ballad My First Love which was released in early 1983, the song gave them their biggest success up to that point reaching No. 12 on the R&B chart. The song was later a hit in 2000 in a cover version by Avant and singer Keke Wyatt. Banging the Boogie was also a Top 40 R&B hit.
