Description
For sale is an original first press of the Replacements' Let It Be album, on the Twin/Tone label.
The sleeve is in overall very nice shape, but I conservatively grade it VG due to the crimping/wear on the lower left corner of the back cover, as shown in the photos above, and also due to the handwritten notation on the original Twin-Tone catalog inner sleeve, again shown in the photos. There is also some light dinging of the spine, although the spine text is readable.
I grade the record VG++, the vinyl is shiny, glossy, and scratch-free, and plays with only light clicks and pops between tracks. The record was play-graded in its entirety on a Rega turntable.
The matrix/deadwax info is as follows:
Side 1: handwritten TTR 8441-A S-12679, machine stamped MASTERDISK, handwritten initials HW?
Side 2: handwritten TTR 8441-B S-12680

Please note that my phone's camera has a slight warping effect that causes square objects such as LP sleeves to look slightly askew: this is a fault in my camera, not in the item itself.
Record ships via US Media Mail in a heavy cardboard mailer, with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap, as necessary, to provide protection. The record will not be shipped in the original Twin-Tone catalog inner sleeve, but rather in an MFSL inner sleeve, outside of the LP jacket, to prevent seam splits or damage to the original inner sleeve and LP jacket.
