invisible Inc's decade celebrations continue with a second instalment that dives headlong into the label's psychedelic dimension. Ukrainian producer Volodymyr Gnatenko, recording as Hena, opens with 'Nuan', a peyote-dusted sprawl that unfurls like desert heat haze. Coyote, boss of Is It Balearic?, reworks Sordid Sound System's 'Gimme Fever' into a hypnotic acid dub mantra, locking into its groove with understated precision. Sweden is represented twice: Kanot, the duo of Anton Kolbe (Tross) and Jesper Jarold (Fontan), deliver the dreamlike drift of 'After Age', while Futurum's 'Prado' offers a warm-up DJ staple finally given the vinyl cut it deserves. Peaking Lights' Aaron Coyes, here as Exotic Gardens, warps his hardware into lysergic dub on 'Manifest XTC', before LA's Eddie Ruscha appears under his E Ruscha V alias with the eerie, suspended textures of 'The Sinking Summit'. Banda Magnetica's concrete experiment and Athens-based Anna vs June's intimate closer seal a transportive, kaleidoscopic set.
