Respighi/Pine of Rome-Fountains of Rome/RCA Living Stereo LSC-2436 Shaded Dog, Stereo, 331/3 rpm. 1959. Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Fritz Reiner, conductor.
Vinyl Condition: Side One EX+ 5S. Side 2 EX+ 5S.
Both sides are in beautiful condition. No scratches, no paper scuff s, bright, clean and glossy. Played both sides; a very natural smooth sound. On side one a few subtle ticks in a few quite passages for just seconds. Those who like Respighi are in for a treat, the shear energy are brilliantly conducted by Reiner with it’s upfront soundstage and wide dynamic range are sure to please. This disc has been toted for years as one of the most spontaneous vivid readings. This record is in nearly Pristine Condition! Jacket, EX condition.
