Description
Wouldn’t you like to add a WHITE LABEL PROMO copy of a GREAT LP by a SUPER BAND from the CLASSIC ROCK & ROLL ERA of the 1960s to YOUR vinyl collection? Well, here’s your chance in this auction. It’s “Retrospective/The Best of the Buffalo Springfield” released by Atlantic Records in 1969. This is ATCO SD 33-283 (Stereo pressing) on the WHITE PROMO ATCO LABEL. Please see the images of the labels to see the song tracks that illustrate the talent that was Buffalo Springfield, the springboard band for Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Jim Messina and Richie Furay. As you know promotional records were pressed in very limited quantities and only made available to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. This makes them VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities. But this one can be yours if you are the high bidder. The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG to VG+ condition. There is some corner wear and light cover wear and a small radio station stamped date of “FEB 11 1969” on both front and rear covers visible in the images. The VINYL is graded BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT and the WHITE PROMO LABELS are CLEAN and SNOW-WHITE without a mark on them! It is simply a great LP in fabulous condition for you to add to your vinyl collection if you are the high bidder. FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. And please check my other auctions for other LPs you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping! Winning bidder must remit payment within 7 days of auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to an address in the lower 48 U.S. states via media mail with delivery confirmation. (Postage is more to Alaska and US islands.) Winning bidder outside the U.S. agrees to pay calculated International First Class shipping based on weight.
