Description
Reuben 'Stand Up Mr Washington' / '(I Am) Drum' 45 on Solar, 1974 (SOL 2002). Condition: VG+ (plays EX).
Obscure, killer psych funk B-side as featured on Andy Votel's 'One Nation Under A Grave' mix CD and a regular spin in his DJ sets. This rare 45 hardly ever turns up - I've seen around 5 or so for sale in as many years, so it must have been pressed in a very small quantity.
Savage fuzz/wah guitar, raucous soul vocals, super-heavy drums - and a really great song too! One of my personal favourites of the genre.
