Description: Here's a original 1960's LP by the great blues and gospel guitarist and vocalist, Reverend Gary Davis, whose unique style of fingerpicking influenced many of today's musicians REVEREND GARY DAVIS: SAY NO TO THE DEVIL--Prestige/Bluesville 1049, in very clean condition, with the original vinyl, recorded by Rudy Van Gelder with the signature VAN GELDER embossing in the deadwax. 

Cuts include: SIDE ONE: Say No to the Devil; Time is Drawing Near; Hold to God's Unchanging Hand; Bad Company Brought me Here; I Decided to Go Down; SIDE TWO: Lord, I Looked Down the Road; Little Bitty Baby; No One Can Do Me Like Jesus; Lost Boy in the Wilderness; Trying to Get to Heaven in Due Time.

Condition: Vinyl shows only the lightest handling wear, a very few superficial smudges in oblique light-very clean overall; Jacket shows moderate scuffing on front cover, initials of former owner at top back corner, split at top except for about 3 inches in middle still attached. Top 3 inches of spine of jacket also split and an inch or so at the bottom spine. Bottom is intact--the jacket could be repaired with some care.
