Description
Folk-Lyric FL-108, “Rev. Pearly Brown, Georgia Street Singer”. Black-label vinyl plays at NM with practically no background sound. The jacket, with the “3323 Morning Glory, Baton Rouge” address, is in excellent shape with mostly solid seams all around, but some cracking at top and bottom by the opening. There is no ringwear and only negligible corner wear; the title has been written in pen on the otherwise blank spine, but otherwise there are no writing or stamps, and the jacket is very clean. Songs include “God Don’t Never Change”, “Closer Walk with Thee”, “You’re Going to Need that Pure Religion”, “Savior Don’t You Pass Me By”, “Motherless Children”, “Oh, What a Morning”, “I Must See Jesus”, “Nobody’s Fault But Mine”, “I Know It was the Blood”, “By and By, I’m Going to See the King”, “Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning”, “If I Never See You Any More”, “Ninety-Nine and a Half Won’t Do”, “It’s a Mean Old World”, and “Great Speckled Bird”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
