Description
For a period of about 8 years in the late 60's and the early 70's , records were being pressed in Lebanon under licence from the parent record companies. This stopped when the local civil war broke out in 1975 and was never resumed. Only very few copies of each record were pressed. So, if you do find a record that is pressed in Lebanon, be sure that it is a very rare item.
Ricardo Credi - Siga Siga/ Une Larme
This single was originally released in Greece on Philips Records. Ricardo Credi was a French singer who was based in Greece between 1964 and 1968. He recorded these 2 songs with Vangelis Papathanassiou Orchestra as the backing band. They included Demis Roussos and Lucas Sideras. This was basically an early version of Aphrodite's Child.
This very rare promotional 45 RPM was pressed in Lebanon in 1967. Typically of promotional records, it has a white label. It is in EX++ condition. It comes in a plain white sleeve.
