Description
You are bidding on one copy of Hang 'Em High by Richard Ace on Trojan Records - 1969.
Catalogue Number TR-654. Matrix: TMX + 140 // TMX + 62.
B-Side - Black & George - Candy Lady - picture on request.
Condition: VG. Important note regarding condition: I am selling this record not on the basis it's some collector's piece to be marvelled at - if I did that, I would place it in a picture frame behind glass. I am selling the song, to be played. It's a rare single that is highly sought and is in VG condition. It has some what I call 'cat hair' marks on it but it plays very clearly with no more crackle than any other record its age.
It is 45 years old and it's in better condition for that time than I am for my 41 years on this planet.
There is one tiny dint in the edge - this has no effect on the way it plays - the needle hits the groove inside and the description of the tiny dint on the edge is only included so that bidding is on the understanding that you have read and accept the record in the condition described at the price you decide voluntarily and of your own free will to bid up to, or to buy at my preferred direct price.

Many auctions for eBay have that irrelevant nonsense about 'comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home'. I smoke 40 Woodbine a day and own a herd of Llama that become highly aggressive at the sight of anything I sell on eBay.
SHIPPING has to reflect the true cost of the entire operation, not just the postage cost itself. The culture on eBay seems to be one where people are happy to pay £6.00 or whatever to concert ticket agents for two pieces of paper to be mailed to them. Well - I'm not a huge conglomerate, I'm a person in a front room so please don't kick off if there is a difference between cost price of postage and the charge for P+P. If I sell a record for £2.50 and charge £1.50 on postage but the stamp is £1.00, the 50p difference is more than taken off me in other ways - from eBay/PayPal fees, and my time, petrol, packaging materials that all cost money - it's ALL part of it. I come out with mere shrapnel and even then it's by pure chance - I calculate the cost of the P+P in genuine good faith.
Any return is at the buyer's expense but a full refund will be given if not satisfied.
