Record: Retains decent gloss w/ some light surface scuffs and a lightly bubbled surface. Side A is cut a little off center but does not affect play. It plays a great Mint- / Side B plays a strong VG++ w/ some light background surface noise at the beginning intro and then a little better almost Mint- w/ just a little light random background surface noise. Both have nice sound presence / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Nice original first pressing copy of this 45 with the original version of this all time classic. The B Side features the original B Side, a killer rockin' midtempo version of the old Jimmie Davis Country standard.
I just acquired a nice batch of 45’s that belonged to radio station DJ Randy Hall who was the all night jock for KDKA radio in Pittsburgh, Pa. in the early 60’s. The collection included lots of original 50’s & 60’s titles including some nice promos. I will be listing them in the next weeks and months.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
