Description
This is a box set of the entire Der Ring Des Nibelungen cycle by Wagner, containing 19 Vinyl records. The box set was released in 1967 and played by the Vienna philharmonic orchestra conducted by Sir Georg Solti.
All 19 LPs are in very good condition, pretty much all look unplayed, I could only find light marks on some records on the inner label where the record was placed on the turntable spindle. So all media is NM.
The Boxset itself was quite beat up. Typically I don't touch anything with records, but I taped this back up so as to prevent further damage. I have "before photos", but could not include them as I ran out of available photos for the listing. Just ask me if you need them. Primarily, the back and bottom spine was separating from the rest of the boxset. Additionally, the spacers to hold "The Ring Resounding" book have tearing.
As for the individual boxset (I.E, Siegfried), most were near mint, with two stand outs. Das Rheingold has it's top cover separated, so it doesn't open like a book, the cover just comes off, Secondly Die Walkure, which has some the "Wagner" part of the spine label torn.
Finally, "The Ring Resounding" is in good condition. The outer cover has tearing along the spine, and there is an orange coloration on the outside of pages at the top of the book.
