WAGNER Der Ring Des Nibelungen (Incredible 1970 UK TWENTY TWO stereo LP boxed set of the complete edition of Richard Wagner's four part opera, Der Ring des Nibelungen, also known as The Ring Cycle, featuring the four operas Das Rheingold, Die Walkure, Siegfried & Gotterdammerung. There is also a unique three record introduction to The Ring set narrated by Deryck Cooke featuring excerpts from the four operas. Each opera is in its own separate wooden ended partition with fullsize libretto booklets containing synopsis & full transcription for the operas. This performance is THE classic version by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Georg Solti, a powerful orchestral drama, phenomenal performance & superb sound. The whole ensemble is enclosed in a very weighty carved wooden box with gilded front panel. The box is virtually mint and the wooden/leather spines show negligible edge wear and the two outside ones have feint lines on one side, from the outer box. The librettos are complete, clean & undamaged with a couple of slight wrinkles on the outer covers. The vinyl is as far as I know mint or near mint (This was my in-laws from new and was almost never played).

I've tried to show any marks in the photo's. I haven't removed the disks from the sleeves as I'm sure some of them have never been removed.

The whole collection weighs in at over 11kg, so collection would be preferred, but I can post if wanted.
