Very good vinyl condition of five rare albums by Rock and Roll

icon and guitar legend Rick Derringer!

The first album is Rick’s debut solo LP on the original Blue Sky label,

this was the record that introduced him to the world with his chart topping

classic hit ‘Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo’ along with ten other terrific tracks

like ‘Teenage Queen’, ‘Slide On Over Slinky’ and ‘Uncomplicated’.

The next album ‘Spring Fever’ was his follow up to his stellar debut and it

delivers with ten songs including a cover of his old 1960’s hit with his first

band The McCoys, ‘Hang On Sloopy’, as well as tunes like ‘Gimme More’,

‘Roll With Me’, ‘Still Alive And Well’ and ‘Walkin’ The Dog’.

The third selection is the 1976 first album with his hard rock band ‘Derringer’

a super group foursome made up of Danny Johnson on second guitar,

Kenny Aaronson on bass and Vinny Appice on drums. Eight killer songs

like ‘Let Me In’, ‘Comes A Woman’, ‘Sailor’ and ‘Beyond The Universe’.

The next LP is the 1977 ‘Derringer Live’ an incredible display of just how good

this band is live with eight choice performances that include ‘Let Me In’,

‘Still Alive And Well’ and a great live hot version of ‘Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo’.

The final album is the 1978 ‘If I Weren’t So Romantic, I’d Shoot You’, eleven

songs of tight amazing musicianship and tunes like ‘Midnight Road’, ‘EZ Action’,

‘Lawyers, Guns And Money’ a Warren Zevon cover, ‘Rocka Rolla’ and ‘Attitude’

to name a few.

A truly terrific collection, all in their beautiful album jacket glory.

Experience the music the way it was meant to be heard in all the warm tones of

its analog quality mono vinyl sound and not the inferior audio of MP3s.
