Originally released by A&M Records in 1974, Rick Wakeman's (musical adaptation of Jules Verne's classic novel,) 'Journey to the center of the Earth' is considered to be one of his most significant contributions to the 'Art Rock' movement of the 70s. The four-part work was recorded in concert at The Royal Festival Hall in London with the London Symphony Orchestra and the English Chamber Choir conducted by David Measham. It is an unforgettable audiophile experience and this particular pressing on the Sweet Thunder label is superb. Pressed on Teldec Virgin Vinyl, the surfaces are noise-free and playback reveals no distortion despite the dramatic highs and lows in the music.

Condition of Record: Near Mint...beautiful and shiny surfaces...hardly a blemish to be seen. Vinyl is translucent when held up to a light source. Original anti-static inner-sleeve is included and is in Excellent condition.
