Description
Here’s a very odd copy of Ricky Nelson’s 2nd LP from 1958. The yellow version of the “fireworks” label is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It appears to be a regular US issue in every way- the cover is standard cardboard construction, no mention of any sort of foreign pressing, and there’s even an old price tag on the back with with a US dollars $2.40 price tag on the back. The record was pressed on a heavy vinyl with no raised area on the trail-on, just like normal Imperial pressings of the area. The album number is LP-9050, labels have IX-101 and IX-102, and the master numbers are duplicated in the trailoff. Matrix on side one is AH Ix101, and side two is AH 1x102. Vinyl grades VG+ to VG++. Cover is VG, small piece of the lower righthand corner is missing, short seam splits on top and bottom. Maybe someone could come forward with more info with this. I’m selling it for a collector friend of mine, and we were both completely stumped! Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. Happy bidding!! rockabilly
