Description

The Right of Little Rest
1970s private pressing folk-psych LP

“The Right of Little Rest,” private pressing (1976?), no label or number, produced by Scott Randall. The jacket has only drawing on the front, with no title or other lettering; the back is blank.

The album is folk-based with some psych influences, particularly on the female vocal track “I Am not the One.”

I understand that the record is listed in Hans Pokora’s book “3001 Record Collector Dreams” (I don’t currently own a copy of the book to confirm).

Condition is very good overall. The record has some scuffs and fine surface scratches that produce general light background noise, noticeable primarily in the dead wax. In addition, side 2 has a deeper scratch covering track 3 and part of track 4 that produces a noticeable click (primarily on track 4). To my ears, the click is somewhat distracting but not a killer. On whole, the record plays well. The jacket has corner dings and minor rubbing and a couple of light sticker stains on the front. No seam splits or writing.

If you’re a first-time customer, I recommend that you read my terms and conditions before bidding (you’ll find them under the “Terms and Conditions” heading on this page, by clicking the eBay FAQ link, or by clicking the Me link under “Seller Information”). Please note that I do not accept PayPal or credit cards.

Terms and Conditions
Buyer pays actual shipping costs. I do not charge handling fees. I request insurance on all items with a high bid of $50 or more. I accept personal checks and money orders (including Western Union Auction Payments, formerly BidPay); I do not accept PayPal or credit cards. Non-U.S. buyers (including Canadian buyers) must pay in U.S. funds (please see my FAQ for payment options). Most questions about payment, shipping, refunds, and other policies are answered in my eBay FAQ.

I will not under any circumstances close an auction early to facilitate a private sale. eBay bidders always get first dibs.

The winning bidder should NOT use eBay’s Request Total Amount to contact me. Barring unforeseen events, I will send a notification within 24 hours.

I'm usually away from my computer on weekends, so if you have a question about an auction that's closing on Sunday night, please get it to me by Friday afternoon.
