Issued in the UK in 1977, 'Scouse The Mouse' is a delightful children's story, and Ringo Starr is the voice for 'Scouse The Mouse'. The Album also includes Adam Faith and Barbara Dixon and is narrated by Donald Pleasance. Ringo sings on, 'Living in a Pet Shop', 'Souse's Dream', 'Running Free, 'Boat Ride', 'Scouse the Mouse', 'I know a Place',' S. O. S', and 'A Mouse Like Me'. 'A Mouse Like Me' was later changed to A Man Like Me and included on Ringo's 1978 album 'Bad Boy'. The other seven songs on Scouse the Mouse are: 'Sing a Song for the Tragopan 'Snow up Your Nose for Christmas', 'America, A Mouse's Dream', 'Scousey', 'Passenger', 'Caterwaul' and 'Ask Louey'. The album was produced and engineered at the Berwick Street Studios in London.
Included with this album package is its original Scouse The Mouse Colouring/Drawing Competition Insert. This competition insert is still in tact and UNUSED! The album is on the Custom Red Polydor Label, with the wording 'Made in England' on both sides of the record label.
The album comes in its original Polythene Lined Inner Bag and is protected in its Original and totally UNIQUE Card Picture Sleeve.
Both sides of the record labels are AWESOME **near mint** condition – A STUNNING set of Record labels. Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in IMMACULATE **mint** condition - SUPERB, the Vinyl looks NEW. The Competition Insert is also in **mint** condition. The outer Picture sleeve is a FINE and RESPECTABLE excellent example - FIRM and STRONG, showing just a little light record storage wear/light rubbing to the edges.
