With an Enclosed Facsimile Volume of the Rare 1865 First Edition Book - ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!



One of the finest productions on vinyl that I have ever seen, this is Riverside's spoken-word release of British actor Cyril Ritchard reading the Lewis Carroll classic, complete on 4 discs.

That, in and of itself, would be enough to have any record collector say, "Oh my." But there's more.

It's all musically scored by Alec Wilder no less, and here played by the beloved New York Woodwind Quintet. (They inspire Ritchard so, he sings on occasion.)

To boot, I kid you not, there is a facsimile copy of the actual 1865 publication of the book enclosed. (When I first saw it, it froze me in place…breathless.)



For grandparents and parents among us who gladly share the wealth of "experiencing everything," I offer this gloriously imaginative boxed set.

Lift-top box is crisp, without fault, all four records are near mint, and the book is just fine.

In your listening room, let there be a younger person and an older person and this little white rabbit….

A treasure, amongst the finest spoken-word productions, ever.
