Riverside Triptych 93514-16
This is a rare set of three matching stereo records in the “Great Jazz Artists” series - “Compositions of Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, and Jerome Kern” - all on the original black and silver reel-logo labels of Riverside RS 93514/93515/93516. The playing surfaces are in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated covers are shiny, clean and bright throughout, showing no ring wear; 93515 has ¾” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening, and flaking at the top and bottom edges on the back slick. What makes these covers so interesting is the image they create when lined up. Riverside made only two of these triptychs and they are very hard to find in all mono or stereo: they must be in the same format to line up properly.
