Description
Up for auction is a 12" SUPER RARE test pressing of Rivethead-The Cheap Wine of Youth 12" (Recess Records#98) PLUS!!! A brown vinyl copy. We pressed up 300 GREY vinyl and somehow I found this brown copy. Which means some pigment was leftover from a previous job. This is the only brown one I've seen and the chances of more than 3-5 copies existing are super low. If any others with this strong of pigment. So basically the holy grail of pop-punk collecting. Rivethead members went on to start (and join) bands like Dear Landlord, Gateway District, The Copywrites, Faster Housecat, Off With Their Heads and more.
Also check out the Recess online store for our recent test pressing sale! Best way to get a few tests without paying as much! We are trying to raise dough for some upcoming projects. First come first serve!
* Test pressings are SUPER limited (usually editions of only 4 copies-sometimes more. never more than 20) vinyl pressed in order for the band and label to check for any clicks, pops, and other crappy crap before the vinyl goes into production. They've been compared to gold and Park Ave real estate.
