Columbia Records first pressed this collection to 33RPM in 1961. This is the third re-issue of 1970. This record is 45 years old, yet looks like it came from the distributor last month! CL1654- The first three re-issues looked identical, with the exception of the label variation. This label is the Columbia - Red- "6 eye" label The records has the customary pops and even the masters of this material isn't of the highest quality. I was amazed the first time I listened to this how GOOD it still sounds. And the sleeve has been in a protective sleeve probably as long as they've been making protective sleeves, because this 1970 front and rear cover still has it's high gloss sheen to it !
