Description
Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley is the debut solo album by the English singer Robert Palmer, released in 1974. It followed three album releases co-fronting the band Vinegar Joe. Palmer is backed by The Meters and Lowell George of Little Feat. Multiple reviewers have commented that Palmer sang confidently on this album, despite being backed by more accomplished musicians such as Lowell George, Art Neville and New Orleans singer-songwriter Allen Toussaint.
The album peaked at No. 107 in the Billboard 200.
THIS COPY is a 1974 or 1975 Terre Haute 1st pressing on the Island Records label (see Notes, below).
The vinyl has a light mark or two, but per a test listen, none that affect playback. It is in Very Good Plus [VG+] or better condition. (Personally, I think it may better be graded as Excellent. :-)
The original cover shows only faint ring wear. It, too, is in Very Good Plus [VG+] or better condition.
The inner sleeve evidently is not original :-( It is a simple white inner sleeve with square corners and a center hole. There are some wrinkles, and there are also a couple of seam splits. Overall, it is in Very Good [VG] condition.
