Robert Shaw Signed Box Set Berlioz Requiem OP. 5 Atlanta Symphony Autographed (DG-10109-2). Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. This is a signed copy of the 1985 Robert Shaw conducted Atlanta Symphony, Chorus & Orchestra, Berlioz Requiem(Grande Messe Des Morts) Robert Shaw Atlanta Symphony, Orchestra, & Chorus John Aler, Tenor. I have visually graded the 2 Vinyl and they appear to never have been played. The sleeve is in almost new condition, as you can see how glossy it is in the picture.There is a slight crack in the top portion of the box and a few very minor dents in various places, but almost unnoticeable as I only found them upon very close inspection also discovering the crack in the top. The program is still inside the box, crisp as new, with a very minute amount of time discoloration. The signature appears authentic, I have looked at quite a few pictures of Robert Shaw's autograph, and have no reason to believe that it is faked, as I recently purchased a large collection of classical albums(3000ish) which this came included, not known about, and the surrounding albums were quite a few high school bands located in Georgia, leading me to believe it is authentic, owned previously by a music teacher, due to quite a few instructive albums for instruments, and sheet music in a few of the boxes. Unfortunately there is no COA, as this was probably someones personal treasure at one point, and like i asked myself, why would anyone forge Robert Shaw's signature, it just seemed silly to me. I will be shipping via media mail, and will make sure the box is not able to rub on the portion of this album where the signature is located, when shipping.
