Description
Figuring that Soft Machine could not realize or even handle the sounds looping in his head, drummer Robert Wyatt steps away from the Canterbury crew and commits some of the most disastrously difficult non-jazzrock, prog wave damage ever. Full of snare fill build ups, distant vocal warblings, free jazz saxophones, and proto-Faust freakouts, Robert Wyatt composed this highly enriched experimental classic mostly on his own, but with his Soft Machine pals guesting here and there. Cover has a few frayed corners and has no seam splits or other issues. The vinyl retains a brilliant shine and is absolutely non-negotiable EX. A trippy album for sure.
