Description
Here is the famous (or infamous) 1973 Decca HEAD 6 Kenneth Wilkinson recording of Roberto Gerhard's The Plague featuring Antal Dorati conducting the National Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. It's a heavy piece of music, based on the Albert Camus work of the same name. The LP is a well-known audio blockbuster and was listed by Harry Pearson on the TAS List of recommended audio recordings. It is rather rare, especially in this condition (NM). It has 1G and 2G stampers. The record sleeve is VG due to ring wear and general wear, a common condition on these thin cardboard sleeves. The record will come (cleaned on a Nitty-Gritty machine) in a new MFSL anti-static inner sleeve, but with the original inner sleeve included, along with the booklet (libretto), all packed outside the sleeve in a new 3 mil poly bag. Shipped insured USPS Priority Mail.
