Description

For your consideration is a rare vintage 10 inch 78 rpm by Jan and Arnie entitled Gotta Get A Date b/w Jennie Lee. Iconic late 50s disc. Very hard to find on 78 as very few records on the format were being pressed by the summer of 1958. This discs B-Side, Jennie Lee, is often cited as being the first to exhibit what would later become known as the Surf Rock sound of the 60s. Fun songs. Hear below!

Please keep in mind that rather economical equipment was used and 78s only received a light cleaning. For the highest fidelity reproduction results, a correct sized, well maintained stylus should always be used and antique records should also always receive a deep cleaning with a stiff bristled brush and a non-alcohol based soap. I do not provide grading beyond what is required by eBay. [isdntekvideo] All 78 rpm records, vinyl or shellac, will be shipped sandwiched between either thick cardboard or some spare 78 rpm discs to provide substantial reinforcement for uneven pressure placed on a package during shipment. The record sandwich is then suspended in packing peanuts on all sides.
