Rock Stereo LP Verve V6-5008 Banana Velvet Underground Nico Warhol
Rock Stereo LP on the Verve V6-5008 label featuring the music of the rock group The Velvet Underground and Nico and so titled. This is the banana cover and the banana has not been peeled. The gatefold cover is rough, with rubbing on the banana, and there are a couple of seam splits that have been repaired from inside the cover. The repairs are tight and strong. Does not have the torso on the back cover. The vinyl is a very strong VG++ with just a few very light marks that do not affect play back. Their 1967 debut album, featuring German singer Nico, with whom the band collaborated, was named the 13th Greatest Album of All Time, and the "most prophetic rock album ever made" by Rolling Stone in 2003. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked the band #19 on its list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time".

We ship in an oversized box 14 x 14 x 4 inches for LP's, 10 x 10 x 4 inches for reel to reel and 45 RPM, and 12 x 12 x 4 inches for 78's and 10 inch LP's. We use peanuts to all ow the item to float in the box so that there is room for cushioning to protect the record. Fragile records, such as 78's are packed in an inner box to provide additional protection. Always let us know if you have other special instructions for labeling, packaging or addressing.

We ship in oversized boxes with bubble wrap and packing material (bubble wrap) to protect your item. Although it increases the cost of shipping slightly, it is well worth it and we will only consider other shipping methods at buyers risk. Shipping to Canada is $11 and to Europe, Japan, Asia and Australia is $20, but final price is based upon cost by weight and packaging combined.
