See my other auctions this week for a bunch of rockabilly 45s! Here’s a VERY rare and great rocking 45 by Johnny Taylor from 1956. It’s on the obscure FIRE label out of Bakersfield, California. The songs are “Mixed Up Rhythm and Blues” and “Sad, Sad Saturday Night”. The vinyl grades VG++. The record plays with a “lift” that tracks through just fine at 2.1 grams. Labels have a few markings from the original DJ who owned it.
