Description
Rod Stewart’s An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever let You Down authentic 1969 Vertigo Records UK spiral first pressing 1/Y3 2/Y1.
Rod’s first solo record and it’s a great one featuring the classic “Handbags & Gladrags” a song we all know and love as well a brilliant version of “Man Of Constant Sorrow” and nice cover of the Rolling Stones “Street Fighting Man” a rocking’ Title track (An Old Raincoat) and my personal favorite “I Wouldn’t Change A Thing” amongst others.
A Brilliant record!
The record grades Excellent or better there are a few light marks nothing deep whatsoever and there’s some surface noise which these pressings are notorious for but it’s nothing earth shattering or that takes away from this incredible first outing from Rod.
The gatefold record cover grades Near Mint inside and out (see scans).
I've been collecting records for over 55 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
