ROD STEWART ATLANTIC CROSSING Souvenir Belt Buckle

I think I brought this when Rod was touring Australia. About 1980, but can’t be sure.

I went to his outdoor show at Waverly Park, Melbourne. Before the show, we could see the band playing soccer on the grass behind the stage…

SOCCER ON VFL PARK!!!

And Cold Chisel was the support act.

(Yes, in those days it was the Victorian Football League.)

This belt buckle is ‘as I bought it’, never been used, or worn. No scratches or dents 82mm wide x 60mm high.

Made of metal 2mm thick, and the copy of the album cover is set in and covered with clear resin.

On the back are a metal latch to fix a belt too and a pin to locate the belt hole. (See photo insert).

And the inscription reads “PACIFICA MFG. LA.CAL.90245 1976”

This buckle has great sentimental value, but it’s time to go. I can’t put a $$$ value on it, so please bid generously.
