I am not a record dealer and I am not an expert at grading records. I will give as much information as possible to assist in identifying particular albums and an honest opinion as to condition.
For the vinyl collectors looking in, the following information is available:
Label: Warner Brothers
Year: 1993
Catalogue No: 9362-45289-1
Made in Germany
Additional Matrix number information: WMME Alsdorf 936 245289-1-A and 1-B
I think I bought this about the time it came out so I'm assuming it would be a first pressing.
Stereo.
Condition:
Record: Both labels are clean. The vinyl looks very good. I can only see a couple of very faint hairline surface marks. I have played the album through and it plays very well with no skipping, jumping or sticking. I didn't hear any surface noise. I didn't hear any clicks at all. My only comment is that I thought the vocals sounded a bit "hissy". To me the instruments (acoustic guitars are always a good marker) sound fine. Maybe I'm being over critical. It may just be my stylus. stylus. I don't think it is a problem with the vinyl because I didn't actually play this album very often. It would have only been played a handful of times at most as I recall.
Cover: Single sleeve. Front and back are clean. There are some minor crease marks around edges and a bit of creasing toward top right hand corner. All edges are good and intact with very little sign of wear. Very faint ring wear. Spine is good with all spine text clear and readable.
Inner sleeve: white paper lined with thin polythene. No issues at all.
Compared with how others grade LP’s on eBay I would say this is VGC+ and I have little doubt some would be grading even higher (EXC?)
This isn’t a “mint” album, but it is a very respectable looking and playing album.
If you would like any further information regarding this item, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer your questions.
Describing the condition of items is very subjective.(one man’s treasure is another man’s junk etc). I will always try to be as honest as possible in describing the items. I would rather be honest from the outset, than end up with a disappointed winning bidder. I buy things on eBay as well and would expect the same honesty from others.
There is no reserve on this item.
Items will be dispatched by Royal Mail First Class post. I will obtain a receipt for postage, but cannot accept responsibility for items not delivered. I understand “standard” first class mail is insured for items up to a value of £20.00. If you would prefer items insured for more, tracked, special delivery, recorded and “signed for” delivery, please contact me prior to paying.
If my starting bid is over £20.00 I will include a postage price that will cover for "Signed For" postage (this insures for up to £50) and if the starting bid or final bid is over £50 I will send via Special Delivery which I believe insures for up to £500.00.
All albums are dispatched in sturdy cardboard mailers with additional stiffeners, to ensure safe arrival. The cost of this packaging is included in the postage price.
Winning bidders must pay within three days of end of auction or the item will be relisted and negative feedback left.
Instant PayPal payments only please. I do not accept cheques in any form (including eCheques)
International bidders MUST please contact me prior to bidding for postage costs. I will only ship to Europe and Worldwide via International “signed for” airmail and this can be a costly business.
Thank you for looking. Good luck and happy bidding.
