From my private vinyl collection: Roger Waters – Radio K.A.O.S. (UK Promo KAOS DJ1)
Rare 1987 UK promotional LP issued to radio stations and without the Jim Ladd segues in between songs; makes an interesting listen. The sleeve describes the item as: “Specially banded radio version, for promotion only, not for sale, music only – no voices”. The sleeve and record label state the catalogue number KAOS 1 with the matrix stamped KAOS DJ1.
(Note that this is a UK release and NOT the US promotional release CAS 2722.)
Visual Goldmine grading: Record VG+ (slight evidence of a fingerprints otherwise NM), outer sleeve VG+ (only very slight evidence of wear and small patch of adhesive residue), inner sleeve NM.
The record has been stored in a "Nagaoka anti-static record sleeve No. 102" since I purchased the item in 1988. Will be posted within a sealed plastic bag in a Music Max record mailer (see photo) with additional stiffener.
